About Centaur Equinecisers
We Saw the Need, and Created Equinecisers
Two decades ago, Alan Cobham, owner of Centaur, began researching the feasibility of manufacturing a more economically priced made-to-spec European-style horse exerciser. The $30, 40 and 50 thousand price tags for the Euro horse walkers appeared extremely high, thus making them affordable only to the largest horse facilities. Those with mid-sized, or even small facilities, could not afford the expense of a European Hot Walker.
Over the next 2 years, Mr. Cobham and his team designed and marketed the Free Flow Equineciser. The Centaur team was able to reverse engineer many of the most popular European Hot Walkers, and manufacture them at an affordable price point.
When the Free Flow Equineciser debuted, Centaur’s model was priced slightly lower than the competition, but newly rolled-out Equinecisers were advertised at an introductory sale price, reducing the price over its competition significantly.
30 Years in Same Location
Centaur has used the same facility for making its hot walkers over the last three decades – an important factor in keeping costs low. Each of our Equinecisers is made by hand for each order.
Centaur Equinecisers has never used the phrase, “made for horsemen by horsemen”, but in fact, our key personnel have been horse people for many years.
